    After 1 year at Quest , our time ended here . It was a good year , decent pay . But , the biggest issue with this company is you cannot ever say anything about favoritism even if it’s put right in your face , if you do, this company has no issues to starve you out. I questioned how a team made 62,000 miles in 2 months when the rest of us were pulling the same loads , staying out 3+ weeks and barely getting 22,000 miles . This questioning put us on the fast track to be starved out . This is a company of old friends , and those that enjoy getting the low end of miles . Some teams here make bonuses easily , some work very hard to make them . If you choose Quest , do not bring their short comings to their attention , they are a very vindictive company. You cannot trust the DM’s or any office personnel . They make you feel like they are listening , but in reality all you are doing is blacklisting yourself . The owner does not care , nor do his pals like Craig Poole or his wife Janice .If you can accept minimal miles and not being in the “club” , Quest might work for you . Sitting 24-48 hours to get a load just does not work for teams , or for us . They have many reasons and excuses , but it’s all intended to dupe you into staying there ... ...

    All companies have favorites. The pecking order usually goes like this.

    1. Family and close friends
    2. Top performers
    3. Workers that do the job and keep their mouth shut.
    4. Mediocre workers
    5. Malcontents

    That’s pretty much how it is in any job in any industry. 1-3 types generally do ok. 4 & 5s not so much.

    You just have to strive to be a number 2 or 3 and if it doesn’t work out, move along (as you did) and hope you can become a number 2 or 3 at your next gig.

    And, just because you might fall into the 4 category at one job, that doesn’t make you a 4 everywhere. You might be the second coming of Christ at your next gig.

    Everyone controls their destiny regarding number 5.

    You can be a malcontent & be a top performer. It's all about how you go about it. If you do your job and are reliable most will do whatever they can to keep you from calling the bosses.. The key in pointing out the donut things they do is to be professional & consistent. Making it personal or screeming & cussing won't get you payed.
    A new driver should just do what they are told as long as it is legal. But once you know how it can & should work you don't kiss any boots. Get pegged as soft & they will exploit you & then expect it.
    Smaller outfits require one to be more personable & a team player. But the Big outfits could care less. You're importance to them is measured in metrics. Give them results, not submission.
