    Hi Everyone!

I'm new to deliveries and although this isn't necessarily trucking related I thought you guys might be able to help me out. My wife is a florist and she's starting to offer deliveries. I'm going to be delivering to our clients and we need something to keep the flowers refrigerated and in good condition.

I found this reefer unit on Amazon and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this unit or the company.

    Thanks in advance!

You might want to ask a mod to move this over to the refer thread. They should have better answers for you there

Its the 2017 Sprinter cargo van and has a cargo capacity of 15m^3.

    How can I do that?

I've see the brand on 'some' refer unit. Not sure of their quality level. With flowers or green leafy things you want a constant cool air circulation. The stop start will shorten the life of the flowers if that makes sense.

A sprinter van is a decent vehicle for this type of service. If it's not already insulated, did you plan to do that yourself?

We're planning on getting it professionally insulated. What do you mean by the start-stop time of the reefer?

I have a friend that used their largest reefer before and they only have good things to say about it. Apparently, it's powered by its own separate battery and doesn't have to connect to the engine so it keeps running even when the engine is off.

Sounds like it might be able to save you gas from idling and engine maintenance costs. Worth a try IMO.
