Question from non-refer driver

    I was used to newer ThermoKing units until I went to one company. They had a couple of old Carrier units. Well. Those are LOUDER! I was in that zone when you're almost asleep, and I heard the "Ping!" noise before it starts that first night. What happened after that.........an unholy scream like I've never heard before!

    Not a bad idea especially as we get into cold winter months 2 run unit on continuous when u go to bad--the constant short cycle on off can be hard on a battery--especially in real cold temps--running on constant for 10 hrs or so can help keep it charged and save headache later.....

    funny story from trucker's wife told me some years ago.

    She says, her husbend home after trip arpund Europe with ThermoKing refer. In the middle of the nigt her husbens wakes up and says "We gotta trouble, refer wont starting for more two hours and it is hot outdoors!!!!"....
