What's up guys. My question is could I still get a trucking job in the oilfields if I got a DWI 22 years ago ? It was a misdemeanor by the way. I plan on going to trucking school , but if I won't be able to get a job then I won't bother. Thanks.
question!

You're a terrible person who should be locked up!!
Never allowed to drive - anything!!!
I had a DUI 21 years ago. The world kept turning.
Yes - you'll be fine. I think you've learned your lesson. ? -
Most companies won't care as long as it has been over 10 years since the conviction.
steven73 Thanks this. -
Oh Hell YES.
I have 2 that are from 23 years ago and 2 more that are from 16 years ago.
First, they are NOT disqualifiers if the convictions are from before you obtained a Class A CDL.
Every company I spoke to, 2 or more and the most recent must be 15 years old. One company, at the time I talked to them, it was 13.5 years and they would accept that with 5 years of clean MVR. I would have applied but I would have had to relocate and I couldn't. Some companies that I didn't talk to, 2 or more and you did not qualify for employment. -
Getting a dui just shows how mindless you are. One...okay mistake but 4 really??? I'm sorry but I lost 3 family members to drugs and 3 to duis where my family members were hit by a drunk driver so I have no mercy on them. Sorry, I know I should but I dobt

...and you had a family member that was lost because a doctor goofed, yet you still go to the hospital to see another doctor. If OP was the person responsible for your loss, your post would be understandable. But he's not.
