As long as you properly turn in the truck, you don't need a notice that you're quitting.

Don’t know where you’re leased but leased to Swift... take your truck to blue beacon. Clean it. Clean it out entirely. Take pics. Then take them at the terminal. Take your permit book, prepass, everything and drop it on the counter at the dispatch window and tell them you’re quitting. Call your terminal and tell them to change your location to whatever terminal you’re quitting at. You’ll get a paid deadhead from wherever you were to the terminal. Wait 4-6 weeks and whatever they owe you will be direct deposited in your account.

Im gonna ask somethin, think long n hard before ya answer it. Have they treated you FAIR? I mean besides not gettin ya home more? If so, I would at least give a few days notice, its just the professional thing to do, IF the company warrants it! Now, if they lied to ya at every turn, played games with yer money, gave ya junk equipment and stuff, then by all means tell em to kick rocks! It works both ways in my opinion...

I work in my backyard, I own the truck, clear title... And routinely my travel agent calls me on Friday afternoon and says go get this load and deliver it... Here I had my heart set on going home and relaxing with a cold beer and a good meal on that particular Friday night... And then he tells me it pays $1000 to drive 38 miles... Whatever... ;-)

There's no requirement to do a 2 week notice. You do want to turn it in where they say and take video/pics so when they say they had to spend $10k fixing it up you show pics/video with time/date stamp proving those items did not need to be replaced. Then you sue them for emotional damage.
