Negative, you are only allowed 10 hours off duty or sleeper combined, must be driving or working the rest of the time.

That log is perfectly legal. I can explain why too. I will wait though. The only thing I would say is your flag when you came on duty has remarks other than place of change of duty status. Those remarks are not required.

I agree that is where the problem lies, but the location should match up, and the PTI should be recorded. I don't see a post PTI performed either.

Hours available today equals 59, so not out of hours.

If post-trip took less than 15 minutes, then it is logged correctly. No descriptions are required in "remarks" (per FMCSA, company policy may dictate otherwise).

The remark for the change of duty status at 5:00 PM is in the wrong location, so just draw a line over.

I agree with big john . I said no also at first at first glance but you can combine off duty and sleepers. He had 10 off so new start is at 17:00.

Kllm allows a pre and post trip inspection at the same time. Our log books had some wording allowing it, and some sort of federal agreement. That is why I don't show a post trip inspection. I will post it when I find it.

But, for the record, I do a post trip inspection. It's stupid not to. Why would you wait until your break is up to find out that you have to go get in line at a repair shop?

And yes, the day prior must be reviewed.
