R&L Carriers and your experience?

I would like to hear thoughts on R&L Carriers. I have been offered a city driver job.

Thoughts on R&L??

Now I am trying to decide between:

R&L
JB Hunt
TMC
UPS Truckload
Central Transport

RL and CT are home daily

I have a lot of options

Go with R&L out of what u listed, I worked there for about 9 years. Good place to work overall. Stay away from Central Trsnsport, I also worked there. CT is the worst place that I've ever worked at. BTW it helps to put your location in your profile so we are better able to help you.

I am in south central Va.

 

Also there is an LTL section if u scroll down a bit. Maybe try Estes, they are headquartered in Richmond I think.

 

Go to estes old dominion abf or ups and fedex. Get that money and home everyday

 

Anybody know how R&L health insurance is? Premiums and deductibles?

 

Thinking of becoming a system driver

 

Years ago, I knew a guy who worked for R&L. They made you buy your own pallet jack, and load bars, which were required. It was fall, and the terminal manager wanted all the drivers to have nice R&L jackets, again, at their expenses.

That’s a fact above. R&L told me that, and said employees would take better care of their stuff that way.
