And Arkansas it's legal to have detectors and laser jammers. Obviously the jammer has no value if your output is tiny versus the incoming.
We don't need them here, because you run around often enough you learn how the law likes to do their traps. And they are VERY good at capturing those who are egregious. -
I"m not planning on getting one. My truck is governed at 75. Speed limit is 80. I just thought they were illegal is all.
Those are pretty pricey buggers.blairandgretchen and Oxbow Thank this. -

A friend has one in his personal vehicles, not in his CMV.
Wrecking a Vette a few years back taught me that
“The faster you go, the bigger the mess”
They are a bit pricy. I usually get there when I get there.spyder7723, Oxbow and Brettj3876 Thank this. -
IN it was illegal. Got ours confiscated years ago when we were still living in AR and were there visiting. I believe there was a $30.00 fine. Never had problems with tint in AR back then either, but on another trip back home to IN, we had a cop car in front and one in the back of our car, ended up having to strip the tint off.

A lot of states it' not illegal to have a radar detector in a pov, but it is illegal to use. Also, even if you aren't caught using it, you can guarantee you are getting a ticket if you get caught with one. Even if they aren't illegal, they show an intent to speed, thus the officer will find something to ticket you for.

Maybe you should drive the legal speed limit?
Then you would not need it.
Or is that just too ignorant of me to think that driving the speed limit is a good thing? -
I guess they point the thing forward in a truck.
