I've always had cranked up Unidens with Astatic or Road King mikes. Striker antennae kicked out long ways.

I've had Kmart and Radio Shack radios that are just as good as many of todays radios.

I really wish I had kept the Connex 4600 Turbo I had gotten second hand for a great price. I made a decent profit on it when I sold it, but it's that one radio I really wish I didn't sell off.
Another Canadian driver and stacks Thank this. -
My Cobra 29 GTL was my first radio I purchased back in 1980. Regret trading it for a Galaxy 44, but just wanted an export radio. Hence, once you “Export”, you never look back.
Oxbow, Another Canadian driver and stacks Thank this.
