TND 740 running latest updates (checked today). No entries in Avoid list for the area.
From Eads to Lamar CO is 36 miles on US 287, drove it last week with 80K- no signage or MCRA restriction noted. 740 adds 2 hours/100 miles via US 50. 15138009687991094713438.jpg

Interesting... even in car mode it does not take US-287. I send this up to Rand to look at. I am on the latest maps.

    Thanks,
    Mark

If I was reading another thread correctly a few nights ago, it is my understanding that I no longer need an SD card in my TND730 for map updates. Is this correct, and if so, what is the purpose of the SD slot now?

You do not need as the x30's have 8gb internal storage.

    Reserved for future use.

    Thanks mark

Can you give me a list of files that I can transfer from one 730 to another using my PC. I know I can do the address book and history but not sure on the other ones eg: trails.
    Thanks
    John

Can you pick up the whole Navi/user folder at once and transfer it or should you transfer each item within the folder separately. Also I have 2 units, on the back one says Version 0.0 the other Version 2.5, is there any difference between the two.
    Thanks
    John

I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy and prosperous New Year.
I really appreciate all the help you have given me over the years and hope all those who follow this thread feel the same.
Keep up the good work cause without your input there would be a lot of unhappy RM product owners.

Mark any word on the next ELD update? My ELD50 and TND740 are still having problems connecting to each other.
