    Alright, riddle me this.

What could possibly possess some office doofus to have two trucks bumping docks directly across the street from each other at roughly the same time delivering one skid each at the end of a dead end route? o_O

Because one of the trucks was loaded before he knew about the second skid?

Because one person started the load plan and a second finished it?

Because opposite sides of the street are in different zones? One mailman does my side of the street and a different one does the opposite side Because it's technically a different village.

No. All freight was on hand, as per usual on Monday mornings. Very rarely does routed freight come in on a Sunday night linehaul.

No. The same person did the planning for both runs.

No. The boundaries for the next areas are about 20 miles NE, 40 miles North, and about 50 miles NW. My territory is the furthest south.

Because the planner was still drunk from yesterday?

They once had two of us parked next to each other at a customer once. I was dropping off a skid and my colleague was picking one up. They ended up giving it to me cause he couldn't work around it without unloading his whole truck first.

    C'est la vie

That at least makes some degree of logical sense, but why wouldn’t they give an oversize pickup to the one emptying out near there?

Wasn’t a bad week all around, I’m still working on getting back to 100% after my fight with Sepsis, so the boss is taking it easy on me right now.

Spent most of last week and 2 days this week running around Fargo doing D-H and bulk deliveries.
Got back on my regular route Wednesday and found most of my customers thought I quit.

They were happy to see me back. Even made a new friend yesterday….

Also got to see a few classics.

Averitt offered me a Yard Dog position paying 33.30, but it’s at a Uline facility 45miles from my house when the averitt terminal in 5 miles…

you clock in 1 day locally, and 4 days at Uline.

kinda thinking about it, but 200 miles of unpaid driving a week isn’t appealing.

    maybe I’ll stay at cooper
