I'm really interested in the history of the US space program, so I was excited to find out one of the crew from the final Skylab mission would be there. One of the more infamous aspects of their time in space was a one day strike against NASA ground control, sometimes called the Skylab Mutiny.

    Skylab mutiny - Wikipedia

Anyway, I asked a respectful question about the issue and got a non answer. So I asked a follow up, another non answer. Opened my mouth and before I could speak got shut down with the comment that the mission lasted 12 weeks and he didn't want to focus on one single day but rather the important things accomplished as a whole. Got the evil eye and everything. Dude was 80 something but still hard as nails. He could probably whip me, so I left it alone.

Met him for a handshake afterward and no hard feelings. He even joked that if I wanted, he could get Buzz Aldrin to punch me. All told, it was a fun experience.

I am torn. Trying to buy a new gun but I don't know what to buy. Spilt between a traditional Sig 1911, the Kriss Vector, or a Sig MPX/MPC... All pistols that I could conceil in my truck.

Ok, i have never heard that story about the mutiny (I read the wiki) that's really interesting. Clearly pushed too hard and said F off.

Ummm, cuz roadrunner wants weird things. A kriss?????? really??????

I mean duh, John Moses Browning is god, therefore any 1911 is GTG.

Two weeks ago on gun buyer I bought a Springfield 9 mm with the 3.3 inch barrel, single stack. It holds 8+1 in one mag and 7+1 in the other. It was around $325 and free shipping, I just had it sent to my FFL local and paid him $25 for the background check, it's very concealable and a very nice gun for a ridiculous price if they are still running it.

Nice looking piece. Never saw one personally. Size wise, sweet. I kinda like the Glock 19 better than my 17 because its a bit smaller (and lighter) but still bigger 'n yours. Nice buy.
