***Note to Self --------> Do NOT appear as a snake in the presence of Brickman. :biggrin_25523: :biggrin_25514:

Thell Reed, a famous pistolero, used to get rattlers to coil, then, quick-draw and shoot their head off with a .45 Long Colt.

Another tip,......... Slowly point the muzzle of a rifle at the coiled rattler and slowly move it back and forth ---- while gently squeezing the trigger. They SaY, you'll shoot their head off that way, too. Seem the rattler will follow the muzzle and aim FOR you.

Just remember to read the label for potential and possible side effects. :biggrin_25524: :biggrin_25525:

1 1/8 ounce of #8's. That will tame them ever time.

Speaking of snakes years ago when I lived in AR I remember hearing about some people that were water skiing. One of them got tangled up and wiped out. As the boat turned around to get him he was hollering that he got tangled up in barb wire. They said by the time that they had got him out of the water he had swollen up like a cow. They said he got tangled up in a school of snakes. He died from it. They used to say that a snake could not bite in water. Guess that shot that theory.
