What would a person expect to pay for a diff change both parts and labor. The rebuild 3rd member, axel end bearings and seals etc.
Rear differential change out price?

About $4k from memory - there’s a local shop here in SW Missouri I had mine sent out to when I decided to go 3:55 from 3:70 - and just freshen it all up after 1 million miles.Rideandrepair and Last Call Thank this.

I'm guessing that inner & outer bearings/races & wheel seal per hub will be $175-$200 nowadays. Use Timkin and Scott seal Plus. Then add at least 1 hr labor for each end. Labor for a differential takes at least 2 hrs, if they clean the axle housing. If I remember correctly, I paid $2,800 for the front, $1,700 for the rear diffs (rebuilt) in 2017. 800k later, still fine. I got them from Vander Haags. Good people to deal with. I've bought a bunch of parts from them over the years.
