Really? I applied and got online forms to fill out, asking how long I wanted to be out, now nothing for 3 wks.

 

`Hello. Your posts are immensely useful. I am new to the forum. I just recently graduated CDL School in Montgomery AL 180 hours at Trenholm Community College. I need to get training. I am a female and need a female trainer. I have no special endorsements. Interested in OTR. I am not interested in Team other than in training. I would like to know if there are any trucking companies that are looking for recent Grads in my city or nearby? Other than, Wiley Sanders.

 

A lady co-worker started driving at Wiley Sanders.

She is now a very good driver.

What....pray tell....is wrong with WS?

Most of the other carriers that normally take new CDL students near Montgomery will be flatbed carriers:

• McElroy Truck Lines -- Cuba, AL
• Boyd Brothers -- Clayton, AL
• Decker Truck Lines -- Birmingham, AL

The CDL job market for new grads right now is terrible. Not sure if any of the above would hire you now...or in the near future. If WS will hire you -- take it. I know they are now looking for more driving help.

Of those mentioned, I would recommend WS as first pick, no question about it.
