CRST also won't give a certificate of completion of the training.
Non driving job, they will still try to collect, but they will block a hire by any other major.
I saw a contract, when someone I knew was taken by CRST to small claims court in 2007. They didn't give those who signed it a copy at that time. I doubt that anything has changed all that much.
Recent grad under contract needs new job

No, it did not get dropped. Probably half the cases there that day were for CRST, and what that contract said, in effect was signing the contract obligated a fulfillment, either by working for 8 months or paying it off, and going to small claims reduced the amount to near the max that court can handle.
If you failed, even if the company could be blamed, you were obligated to pay. I considered the gal lucky to have survived a horrible trainer, who no longer trained after that.
I couldn't believe anyone would sign but it was explained to me as herd mentality, although some did walk out without signing it.Last edited: Oct 24, 2014
