Im not sure I’d want to drive for them either.

If they’re willing to take you with the reckless - then take the opportunity to excel.

    Good luck.

Deere hunter and buddyd157 Thank this.

Maybe. Still something of a unicorn when it comes to what I heard and saw when I was with that outfit. About the only positive thing I have to say about WE is the lack of camera on the dash. Was nice being able to just drive without worrying about what some desk jockey would see in a 20 second slice of my day

your not in a good position to pick & choose. but another option is swift transportation mega carrier. you may be happy there for the next year. i was for 2yrs when i first started trucking with speeding/reckless in a car prior. i was on edge swift orientation because it turned out no other company was trying to hire me on except us xpress. but failed that orientation. swift was my last chance or im would been 7,000 in truckin school debt.

Not 10 years. You might lose the CDL per 381.51 for a year. 3 years for a 2nd conviction. I know several drivers with DUIs. Most was able to get back driving in the 3 to 5 year range. However, the job choices are very slim because insurance companies refuse to insure. One guy started working delivering cola after about 3 years. He is back OTR now at around the 6 year mark since the conviction.

Speaking of Swift, my file isn't even eligible for review with them until September, and they've already been trying to re-recruit me LMAO. Lately they've been doing some BS about a weekly $200 bonus of some kind... only way I'd go back to them is if I had no other choice, and even then I'd insist on working one of the reefer dedicated accounts. As it stands, I'm glad I don't owe those cats for my CDL anymore
