Check Ater Warehouse, they do Wilson trailers, they got some good looking flatbeds and dropdecks I seen when I bought a hopper there a month ago

You run dedicated though don't you? Or do use loadboards as well? Do you call in the loads that say 48k on the weight? I typically put my max weight at 47k. Cuts my load count in half. I've been debating just calling on the 48k loads. I'm assuming most the time the brokers are just too lazy to put the actual weight

Ive been running dedicated for a couple weeks now , but was working the spot market and company freight for the prior 6 months.... On the loadboard i used to put 46k and it cut alot of loads down.... I had an agent with my company tell me she always calls on the 48k and sees if they can scale less or make u legal and ive found 80% of the time the answer is yes we can do that no problem... u still have to consider ur talking to a broker who sometimes dont always give u good info... but for the most part ive had good luck with it... but ur right alot of brokers ive noticed will just post 48k and u show up and its barely 20k or something like that

What do you have for a truck? What all are you carrying for equipment? I’m with the others, run what you have and safe for a new trailer. You can spend a ton of money and not really make a dent on your trailer weight.

All that emission stuff adds up to a sizable gain. Not doing much trying to shed it. Most shippers know that by now

I bet even with a new aluminum trailer your going to barely if you even can scale 48 with all that stuff onboard. Your truck and all the stuff you carry is the problem. I can get almost 51 on the deck.

You know the weight difference between aluminum and steel right?
