I think one part of the problem is we usually have good reason not to trust shippers 100% to properly precool their loads, load correctly and take pulp temps with a calibrated thermometer and on the other hand we dont usually get data about temps until we reach the receiver....and theres the receiver who also might not let us on their dock and can partially or fully reject based on whatever criteria they want...including pulp temps...were there thermometers calibrated? No idea. We could request a USDA inspection but itd kill our profit making power by costing us time...not sure the remedy[/QUOTE]

One of our former memers told how it worked, and fluid milk switched for manufacturing was 'qualified' by shipping it, sometimes round trip, sometimes by offsetting loads.
