Coming from a former reefer driver, to bad! We have a job to do just like you. You are probally the same one who complains about trucks with APU's being to loud.

Not sure why so many are running on Cycle. At least 95% of the loads Hubby and I haul state to MAINTAIN at a specific temperature. MAINTAIN = Continuous.

Instead of :smt089:smt089 contribute your money with the rest of the complainers money to built a separate lot. As many people I see on here boo hooing about it you guys should be able to raise money in no time.

Aaaannnnddd we wonder why the trucking industry is going downhill.
Far too many "Drivers" who are all about "Me First" mentality.

Last I checked, a reefer hauler wants to sleep with their reefer on continuous, that way you know IMMEDIATELY if someone goes and switches it off.

Flick it to continuous when you sleep. Heck of a lot easier for you, and everyone else around you to sleep when its one steady sound.

Perhaps I shouldn't even be in this section because I am a reefer hauler .. but here's my .02

Right now I am at the truck stop right now. I am closer to the back of the parking lot. Plenty of parking available, it is about half full. My reefer is running like hell. It is on cycle. Flatbed driver pulled in beside me, he is not idling. There are plenty of other spaces (pull through spaces, very easy) which he could have used (between non-reefers). He does not appear to care.

20 years truckin and your just now complaining?? Wow.......

It's just the way it is. Don't like it, park at an RV campground.

Are there any real truckers still out here?? A few, I guess. I've said it before and I'm going to say it again....... I sure miss the good ole days of truckin!!!

Oh, BTW. I'm not even a reefer trucker. I'm just another hard working trucker with lot's of great respect for other hard working professional truckers.

And...... Have some of you complainers ever heard of ear plugs?? You can buy them at your next shopping experience at Wally World.
