Your supposed to back up to the front door of the local Walmart when you blow the trash out of the trailer. That way the Walmart employee's don't have to walk to far to pick it up for you. :biggrin_25512:

Thank you so much for starting this thread. I have learned quite a bit over the last few pages. I too am a reefer dummy. I wasn't given any training either and my unit broke down on my very first load, thankfully before I picked up the load. My second load I screwed up running it out of fuel and got a lesson on priming it so it didn't have to go to the shop again. I have only been running reefer for a couple weeks but it has been a drastic change for me. Thank you everyone for the tips.

they make it so hard to prime a reefer so you will not ever forget to fuel it up again
One good thing TransAm taught panhandle and I was to top off reefer every time we fueled

Now why would you want to give the tattle-tale box a reason to rat you out to dispatch???

Lol pony~~~well i admit dont no nuffin bout tattletales&dispatch&such,,,,,,,,Hmmm but i do know if your pumpin fuel in a reefer tank at normal(relatively fast)speed&said unit kicks into hi~speed or worse defrost~~theres a tendancy to get the fuel in said tank mixin up pretty hard therefore kickin up all that nice sludge in the bottom~~~&suckin it into the lines~~~which is why you typically teach folks to shut the unit off whilecya fuel~~~~which prolly aint gonna hurt nuffin for the 2 minutes or so its gonna take ta pump in 25/30 gals or so.......but suck some o that nasty stuff up in there~~~your likely to have WAY bigger problems on ur hands.....but hey whadda i know?:biggrin_2556:
