Reefer for dummies

    well that was his Dad's reefer

    my reefer never ran right in the 70's
    we knew every ice house on the east coast
    bringing the fish to Fulton

    early reffers had a pull string start on fan motor,.that blew air over a block of ice...thats way old skool there!! always check temp on product,..check 2 or 3 boxes on every pallet an need to count every box too!!! dont load hot product! also get ya some extra load locks to help keep singled out pallets up straight! an good to have extra pulp thermometers i always keep one in the vent on back door,..an keep doors closed much as possible...if you get any holes in the lining seal up with silcone an duct tape over to keep mosture outta the walls,..dont eat your load...thay frown on that for sum reson...

    I recommend a nice leaf blower. Either get a 100' extension cord and run it off a inverter or get a battery powered one with rechargeable batteries. Sweeping out a reefer with 1" floor runners is a pain to say the least.
    On a side note they do make brooms especially for those type of reefers with the 1" runners.
