    Carrying ice cream
Temp set to -20 and continuous said by shipper
Box temp stays around 1-3 and doesn’t change any lower
77 degrees out side sun is out no clouds
What should I do? Is it normal?

Were you pre-cooled to -20 before you got loaded? Icecream is at -20 when they load it, so your unit should be somewhere close to -20

Hope pray that a sensor or two is wrong. And that they didn’t put temp recorders in there. But they probably did.

Ice cream almost always get a temp sensor. If it slightly defrosts and refreezes, it’s no good. If he’s staying around zero, might be ok, but if it runs that way too long, it’ll get rejected.

Ok. As I mentioned icecream is loaded at -20. If you were pre-cooled to -10, you should be close to -20. Only reason you would be above 0 is if you just came out of defrost. Icecream is a VERY sensitive product to haul. If you are staying above 0, you are going to have an issue when your unit starts defrost
