I would imagine if they were smart they would install the def tank down by the fuel tanks and use either some sort of vacuum or small electric pump.

I thought Diesel engines under 75 hp are exempt from def. Thermo King offers a 8900 "green" solution to any/most Thermo Kings. I know it does NOT include Def

That was my understanding too at least from what I heard a year or so ago talking to a Carrier mechanic.

While I do not doubt what you heard keep in mind...
Just about every shop I've eer been in has more tall tales and rumor and b.s. stories than most truck stop counters.
Oh, I'm sure it will happen, but I won't believe it until I see the regulation (or even the proposal)
