A lot of the 2016 trucks are automatics. I have a 2015 T680 with a manual and we still have '14s and '13s in the fleet. A few of the more experienced drivers I've talked to that drive the autos don't mind it so much, but I haven't driven one, myself.

Yea I can't wait to start especially being home most weekends I just want to get my feet wet and go from there but 2200 miles a week isn't bad at all I'm not looking to break the bank just yet lol

I used to admire their trucks when I worked at The Limited warehouse in Columbus. Always thought I would like to drive for them. As of yet, I have not.

Regional is wherever the load originates and has no bearing on where it is heading for most companies.

if its a home every weekend regional type deal you can probably expect slightly less miles because you dont have everything available to you only stuff that will fit into getting you back home. you probably wont stay just in your region like TtT said but the majority will be in the general area of it, you normally wont venture to far away from your region. pros is you get to spend 1-2 days a week at home and refresh from the work week which to me is worth losing some potential miles.

    FLYMIKEXL Thanks this.

I'm good with that decent pay miles and hometime and its not predictable like a dedicated but I'm cool with that too
