If done correctly that is true.
The majority are done incorrectly. Resulting in engines that burn up turbochargers, overheat, all kinds of very expensive repairs.

What year is the truck, I didn't catch that part.
There have been upgrades over the years since the first engines using SCR aftertreatment(DEF) came out, and the particulate filter has been on them since the 2007 or 2008 model year. The 2013 i have been driving since new hasn't had that much trouble and the newer ones are said to be better. -
And that, my friends, is why one should never delete. Heard of 100's of people having trouble after, not one that did it and didn't have trouble....Tb0n3 Thanks this.
