Check "Mailboxes Etc" some drivers use this route for an address.
Some states won't let you use a PO Box for your CDL address and some states cross reference the address to check if it's residential or not.

Wow.. I just dont think I wojld feel comfortable and secure with not having a home.. of course, I am a company driver and not an O/O.. perhaps I would feel more secure in not having an actual home/residence and just living in the truck if the truck was truly mine.. but as a company driver, where the company could fire me or kick me out of the truck at any time, that would not sit well with me...

I have a PO Box on my Texas issued cdl. I live in the country and don't even have a mailbox at my house. I've never stayed out longer than ten days. Live in a truck? To each their own I guess.

My Az. D/L has a P.O. Box address on it. It is my "mailing" address. Az. also has my "residence" address in their file, which is not verified. There are areas in this Country which do not have residential deliveries by the USPS. therefor requiring you to have a P.O. Box to receive mail. Stateline, Nv. and Idyllwild, Ca. two places I've lived which had these requirements.

My husband has our P.O. box on his Tx CDL.
When He did OTR and we didn't actually have a home, we used his sisters address. -

Side benefit - I've dodged 3 photo radar tickets over the years because they won't spend the time to serve me.
