I sure did and I would do it again if I had to. One I filed against an owner op another for bad equipment I sued him for wrongful termination and my last one was a construction company for not giving me a drug test when I startedm

The construction company just didn't want to lose you on the first day.

I know and if the owner wasn't such a creep I may have just kept bugging his daughter to give me the test. She does the hiring.

Now we know why companies are so hot to pre-employment drug screens

She probably figured you were high since you were demanding to be drug tested.

Well I've never heard of a company not giving their drivers a drug test. That's one thing that should be at the very top of their list of things that must be done before letting them drive.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

There are way more man-children on a trucking companies pay roll than your post acknowledges, SIB.

Some of the neediest, whiniest people I've ever worked around - truckers. I don't know how their wives tolerate them.... then again, I know a bunch of guys in miserable relationships. Not saying I like it, but I will say: if their life sucks you can bet your last $ they'll try to drag you down with them. Misery loves company; company drivers (of which I'm one, but I try to maintain an awareness so as to not project that misery unto others.)

Is a driver disqualified if the company did not pre-employ drug screen? I mean why raise a ruckus about it in orientation? Why raise a ruckus about it at all?
