Well I've never heard of a company not giving their drivers a drug test.That's one thing that should be at the very top of their list of things that must be done before letting them drive.Chinatown Thanks this.

There are way more man-children on a trucking companies pay roll than your post acknowledges, SIB.
Some of the neediest, whiniest people I've ever worked around - truckers. I don't know how their wives tolerate them.... then again, I know a bunch of guys in miserable relationships. Not saying I like it, but I will say: if their life sucks you can bet your last $ they'll try to drag you down with them. Is a driver disqualified if the company did not pre-employ drug screen? I mean why raise a ruckus about it in orientation? Why raise a ruckus about it at all?
