Ignore road lines. Drive where you need to go to miss curbs. Sometimes I don't even use turn lanes or I take up both of them. Do what you have to do to make the turn, or as posted, drive very slow if all else fails. Better than spending 2 hours or more getting a tire fixed, and the cost.

So the last two days I swear that some drivers read this thread. This morning I watched a truck making a left into a small business complex from the far right lane, he could have made the turn from the left lane but he didn't just make the turn but did so while traffic was trying to get around him then ended up blocking the road because those going on the opposite side would not stop for him. I know he got a ticket, the cops followed him right into the place.
