I think he actually took one home, didn't he?

Before the 80' law passed, I was half expecting him to find a way to gray market some Argosy cabovers.

Stan had his nose to the ground on those 372s tho ...a couple years ago I noticed an ex Harley Davidson 372 sitting in pocahontas Arkansas and let Stan know about it .
Turns out Stan already knew about it and the owner wouldn't sell it .

The only regret I have about Stan and mine interactions with each other is that for the first 2 years I was at Morehouse I went right by the Glasco Kansas exit at least twice a month and didn't MAKE the time to go into town and hang out with him ...my bad !

    Man - that's bad news.

He helped me out on a disabled van haul here a while back - I didn't know him personally, but that just sucks to hear.

Great contributor on this forum, will be missed.

    RIP Stan. :(

Yeah Jack, he has one at home along with a few other old cabovers and a Pontiac or two. He loved old project vehicles.

Sadly I was thru Kansas about 30 minutes from him just before he went into the hospital, was going to go visit but he said he had a cold and wasn't feeling well. That was the last time I spoke to him. #### sad over this, he was a great guy.

For those asking about the business, he had a continuity plan and has a great crew that has been managing it as his plan was to semi-retire with Shannon this year, so hopefully Kansas Transit heeps on trucking.
