    I am looking to go back otr after 4 months experience with pepsi in a box truck and a few smaller jobs after relocating. I have one month otr experience. I may be getting orientation set up with Werner and was wondering about the road test

    The road test is pretty simple. They are just making sure you dont drive like a nutcase.

    Its not very difficult, just a drive around the neighborhood to make sure you are not a safety hazard. Not much else.

    Just keep a good following distance.

    10 speed or automatic road test, swift has me approved me for an automatic road test but i don't know about werner

    Werner does have automatics. The Petes and Kenworth autos are pretty sweet. FL autos are much slower shifting.

    Autos are so common that I cant imagine them not having an auto truck to test on. Im absolutely positive they will.
