I am from Ohio but in Florida now.
Here in Florida there's a Pre Trip & In Cab (Brakes Test) then you backing test which is an offset, alley dock and str8 back.
From there you do your road test which I did a 2 trial runs on that and passed.
Backing is where I am struggling the most and I have not tested yet, but I keep butchering my alley and offset.....
Road Test Tomorrow..

For offset just stick to the script.
Offset right: 12 to 12 left. Stop as soon as you lose object cone in driversode mirror. Hard right and put tractor back in front of trailer. Stop. Now object cone should be in passenger convex mirror. Straight back til trailer tires are abo
Yeah. Just have to stay in both mirrors. Soft turns don't oversteer. If you start to see too much trailer in a mirror turn towards that mirror. If you're losing the trailer in a mirror turn opposite of said mirrorGambosa Thanks this. -
Try to relax and not overthink it.

Yes. Easier said than done.

I know. I’ve heard they grade partly on how comfortable you seem while operating the truck.
