Lol thanks. That's not even the worst of the trailers they have. I actually argued with dispatch because he wanted me to pick up freight in the rain with a hole in the side of this trailer & I refused. Not even sure how this trailer made it to Amazon (where I found it).

yeah, I was in the same dilemma with Swift. I lived just far enough from a terminal to not have a lot of good options. I had no issues there, otherwise. It’s worked out though. Now I’m a linehauler at Old Dominion. Central was on me hard to come in for an interview and drive test, but their recruiter couldn’t keep his story straight, and the driver reviews scared me off. I do nightly turns at Rialto and Irwindale, and they’re right next to us at Rialto. When I compare what I get paid for that turn compared to what Central pays I feel bad for their drivers.

Freight is bad right now though. Sunday nights I usually have 2 turns with 4 loaded trailers. Last week I had 3 trailers, last night I had 2. Just stay where you are for now if you’re thinking about a better LTL company.

Why ask the question after you jump off of the building?

Why are you even considering working at a company with junk equipment or bad maintenance? Do you not understand that being broken down and waiting may pay nothing or a lot less than getting good miles? You are in charge of you. Take charge and stay where you are at until you get an obviously better job, after a lot of research, or just accept that wating for a good job to fall on you is all you are prepared to do.

I was referring to Central not Roehl. Central is the one with the bad equipment

I think you misunderstood what I was asking. Central is the one with the bad equipment I was working for them but I just left. Got to drive at Roehl today in the trucks are good. Trailers look good too. So far I like what I'm seeing.

    tscottme Thanks this.
