So I passed my CDL skills test March 12th this year through England's training program and was hired on with them March 16th. On August 30th, I was involved in a rollover accident, in which I was ejected from the truck. No citations but the accident was seen as preventable, because I've already gotten a copy of my psp, as well as a copy of my mvr. I'm still waiting on my DAC.
I've been out on injury since then. Been having to deal with workers comp, and physical therapy and doctors. I think I should be getting cleared to go back to work by next month. England apparently isn't taking me back so I'm wondering, do I stand a shot at getting hired on by anyone? I'm in the western region of KY.

I would bet that anyone running you through their insurance will turn you down. Ask the mega company's who are self insured. They may hire you. The chances are pretty thin though.
bentstrider83, Trucking in Tennessee and Wanderer90 Thank this. -

I was on the I 44 in Oklahoma City. According to what I found out later, the accident happened at about 3:30 am. I have a vague memory passing around someone, and THAT was my mistake and I know it. Next thing that I can recall is being aware that the tires had lost their grip on the road and the truck was skidding, then the truck made impact with something on the left and then swung over to the right and started turning over on its driver side. I lost consciousness in the middle of the truck turning over.
I know I had my seatbelt on too, I never drove without it. I remember coming to in the hospital while getting stitched up and then talking to highway patrol and telling the patrolman something close to "####, I REALLY REALLY didnt want to screw this up, I love this job."
Apparently, the patrolman told my aunt I wasn't to blame but let's be honest....I passed someone on a wet road when I shouldn't have. I know the truck had to be towed away, and it looked pretty bad when I got my stuff from it after I was released from the physical therapy center in OK City.Lumper Humper, Accidental Trucker, blairandgretchen and 1 other person Thank this. -
