I really like the interstates...i have never taken us highway 41 in this section...pic is attached. The interstate way is about 40 miles loner but about same time. Should i take route 41 or stay on the interstate?
Route question I 57 or highway 41

41 but you better get moving !

You might want to stick to the interstate on this one.
You have a major winter storm cranking as I write this. You have maybe 12 hours or so before you get affected. You do not want to be anywhere there after 2 am tomorrow.
I don't have a forecast for you yet. The weather service does not get "Precise" until right about 6 hours prior in a moving graph I use to decide what's what.ulenie, WildTiger1990 and Just passing by Thank this. -
I seem to be in the minority on this one. Got nothing against 41, but always take 57 down.
ulenie and Farmerbob1 Thank this. -

41 is an ok road, just a few lights in Evansville, but quite a bit of stop and go in Northwest Indiana.
That said, I still prefer a more direct route rather than going out of the way to take 57.Vic Firth, ulenie, Suspect Zero and 2 others Thank this. -

You have lake effect, depending on wind direction, affecting it, as well.
I don't get there anymore, so I can't say which I prefer, I was always going the other way or had drops off 57 going south.ulenie, Suspect Zero and Hammer166 Thank this.
