Rules for washing out trailer

ok sorry The company loads all there own trucks the customers never see the insides of the trucks up close as the drivers are the ones unloading from the customer's parking lots then they pick up left over totes and store returns and load them on the truck. The Corporate trucks I know get washed out as they make pick ups at suppliers but the trailers we use to make store delivery's get water sprayed in them once every three months Literately the guy stands on the ground and sprays a pressure washer into the truck for a few minutes then moves on to the next one. I don't do delivery's for them I run shuttle trucks taking loaded ones to Northern and southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky and bringing back empty's (loaded with empty totes and store returns) Todays truck return I washed out in the parking lot as a bulk bag of creamer had been broken open in the trailer. So Im sure I'll be written up again for it. But It's a Union job so it's dang near Impossible to get fired, I don't plan to be there after the first of the year anyways but still it bug the heck out of me how dang nasty these trailers are and I have tried everything I know of to get it corrected all the way to the V.P. of operations.

 

I put excessive dirt/trash and mold on almost every DVIR and responded to every write up for washing trailer out in parking lot with If the company cared about public safety as much as profit I would not be getting this write up as there is no excuse for not having a comprehensive trailer wash out plan in place. Needles to say Management don't like me to well

 

Board of health Notified was told they will have inspectors out this week at different hours of the day to inspect empty trailers, totes (totes do not get washed either) trailers returning and being loaded.
