It's very satisfying to ride down the road with a nice looking tarp job. This was an easy load but I still take pride in it![]()

I may try some soon. Bungees and me don’t like each other much. Last tarp job I put way to many in one bundle and they got all jacked up lol. Spent more time detangling them when I needed even though they were perfect when put away other than of course I put to many together.

Hahahaha now that I can agree with!!

The ones that my company bought recently
I had brand new ones on that load in the picture. When I took them off they were like guitar strings, totally stretched out with no more elasticity. Probably cause of the cold weather. Point is, I agree bungee cords suck lolcke and staceydude Thank this. -
lol yup, my last trip to Colorado some of the 31” s turned into 48s” and a few 21” into 36s’’ lol
cke Thanks this. -
The cheaper ones will do that, they usually come back when they get warmer. I think it’s the rubber ones that work better in the cold.cke Thanks this.

warm them up and the stretch comes back, anybody that flatbeds in Canada knows that. A bucket of straps in front of the passenger seat is a common practice until they get back to "size" then put away properly.cke, jamespmack and Dave1837 Thank this.

But you might be able to learn a bit from one who does.
"every day that you don't learn something or teach something is a WASTED day" ( a quote from "Bunk" an old-fart that I learned a lot from in my 20s)
