    As long as there are no intersecting cracks yours should be fine.

    Looking at about 200+bucks.

    If the crack is going thru line of sight then it has to be replaced..

    (c) Windshield condition. With the exception of the conditions listed in paragraphs (c)(1), (c)(2), and (c)(3) of this section, each windshield shall be free of discoloration or damage in the area extending upward from the height of the top of the steering wheel (excluding a 51 mm (2 inch) border at the top of the windshield) and extending from a 25 mm (1 inch) border at each side of the windshield or windshield panel.Exceptions:

    (1) Coloring or tinting which meets the requirements of paragraph (d) of this section;

    (2) Any crack that is not intersected by any other cracks;

    (3) Any damaged area which can be covered by a disc 19 mm ( 3/4inch) in diameter if not closer than 76 mm (3 inches) to any other similarly damaged area.

    That's good to know. I now remember you posted this earlier when you first reported that you had a cracked windshield. My crack is shaped kind of like florida. It's below the steering wheel level but it's one crack not intersected by another. Thanks for the info.

    I had a small crack in mine and saw at the mall this guy fixing windshields. he wanted to bill my insurance, I kept telling him my deductible this and that, finally he took $20 bucks cash and fixed it for me. You have to know it is there to see it.

    Im here at the washout only blue beacon in Dallas on Bonnie Veiw Road. They tell me their remodeling and will do trucks also soon. Was like man that's awful, this is the only place in the country wear a washout takes less then 15 minutes. lol
