I think the hauliday raffle is not a good incentive to not be home with your family during the holidays. When you win, you win, and I've won once. But, it's like giving your friend a lottery ticket as a Birthday present. Better incentives would be to spread that winning money over the entire fleet with bonuses or something along those lines. But, that's just my opinion.

Personally, it has no effect on my plans to work or to take home time.
I'm not a big lottery fan. That being said I won $1000.00 this year in it. Probably the first thing I've ever won this way. lol
But I didn't work that holiday hoping to win it. I worked because I work most holidays.

As I’ve worked quite a few holidays, including this Christmas and New Years, and I’ve not won a thing, I’m probably not going to be cheering too hard for the lottery lol. I’m in agreement with the thinking that a smaller bonus paid to each driver who’s working a holiday period serves the masses better than a chance at a bigger bonus, or a chance at no bonus at all. I’d rather know that I’m going to receive a smaller holiday bonus, than know I’m not going to win anything lol.

If my fiancé ever lets me go back on the road I keep going back and forth between JCT and Jim Palmer. They have a percentage deal. Both have small buyouts and attainable trucks though
