Btw, the average fuel tax appears to be around .55. Another .24 with federal. No where near half.

 

Anyone else get the message from the Florida planner ticked off about trailers?

How has JCT been? Before Hirschbach, JCT has been my second option. After reading all these posts on Hirschbach it has made me take a step back and give it some more thought. What are the good things about JCT? Any fuel discounts?

 

In case anyone was curious, this is my latest oil sample, with 50K on the oil. I asked about 75K, per Detroit.

 

The .55/gal average actually includes the federal (.243/gal). State taxes vary from a low of .13/gal in OK to a high of .57/gal in CA

 

I did miserably add the two together. PA has the highest at 58.2 cents

 

My old scanner finally broke. But it spent it's entire life in a truck and bought it used a few years ago. Ordered the Brother DS-620 from Amazon yesterday for $89 with free one day shipping. Hopefully this one last just as long or longer as the Neat Mobile Scanner I had. The transparent page on the left actually separates so you can put small receipts that tend to get folded and it makes them flat for scanning.

I had ordered a hard shell case that was supposed to fit this scanner. Even said it was made for this scanner and was the recommended case on the product page for the scanner, but that turned out to be about half an inch too short. So, that's being returned to Amazon for a refund.
