This sucks for the drivers family, but I don't understand how drivers forget to set the brakes. I have a routine before I get out of the truck and can honestly say that in 10 years of driving; I have never forgot to set my brakes.

He kind of has a point. Had this truck struck someone else walking through the parking lot and killed them instead we would be calling the driver who didn't set his brakes an idiot....but because he killed himself we are suppose to feel bad?

 

if you read this thread regularly you will notice that a couple people on here are better than everyone else and do nothing wrong. They brag about how much they make and how stupid people are because they ask for help or do it another way. It is a shame because this used to be a decent thread.

There are a few on here who do try to help people out and don't brag.

 

this is true but still everyone makes a mistake this one just cost someone's life. It is still a cruel remark to make though just my opinion.

 

True it's a cold remark.

But I know if I go out like an idiot my family will start my eulogy with the words "this #######.." and that's ok.

I'm just pointing out the double standard for sympathy that happens sometimes.

I don't think it's a do no wrong attitude though on Steels part. Because as I said before if he killed someone else we'd all probably be lighting him up right now...
