Just curious, how much do those spots cost?

Similar thing hsppened to me at the TA in Harrisburg, PA. I got a reserved spot and in the morning a medical emergency and the TA called me an ambulance.

Got back that evening and let them know I was dropping the trailer and my carrier would be coming out to get it at some point. Asked how much I owed for the continued use of the spot. Manager said don't worry about it.

Wow I fell pretty far behind on this thread.

Sunday, developed a flat tire on the trailer. Went to Danny's in Avondale for a washout, notice they have a shop and since JCT has a washout account, must be OK to do tires here as well. Called Breakdown who said as long as the tire was Michelin or BFGoodrich maybe Goodyear they can do the tire.

Macro 30 to pay for it and they say "call in". Then the whole "who told you to get that tire done there?" Long story short Breakdown refused to pay for the tire so I shelled out $626 dollars so I could go get my next load.

Monday got a call from someone at JCT who reimbursed me so it is all good now.

Wow wtf. Your a better man than me. That's a leap of faith of epic proportions.
Glad it worked out in the end, gives me hope.
Dealing with breakdown has been like playing a game of Craps lately..

I never would have paid for the tire myself. Glad it worked out for you though.

    Jarhed1964 and CannonballAA Thank this.

I would get it in writing first on the omnitracs.

If they didn't want to pay for the tire, or call road service, that trailer would not be pulled from that spot.
