Considering my dash cam only shows in front of the truck and the other truck was directly beside me, so no, not on video.
In regards to calling in the middle of the night, they send q com msgs as to not directly disturb drivers. Rarely are you the only truck avail for repower. Send a msg to a dozen trucks and someone bound to reply that is awake or wakes up. Law of averages. Concerning the trans Flo app. Yeah, it's great. It basically eliminates the q com for everything except macros. The ability to text your DM without having to stop is nice, but of course none of us text and drive....LOL. You can even respond to a pre plan via the app. Payroll, safety, all available on the app. I get my notification at same time the q com goes off. If the q com is off, I get my notification and the q com msg comes thru....whenever. The text msg option is slow and not complete. The messages on the app are complete. No more writing numbers down and checking in. Just take your phone and all info is there. It's a real handy tool to have and it's free.
I wasn't fully aware of all the changes to the TransFlo app. I took it off my phone long ago as I never used it. I might redownload it now. I've never really done a whole lot with my phone besides the standard phone call and the rare text message.
Like that you can respond on the transflo but haven't done it yet. Will be great once I get them to turn off the text my phone option, getting double messages. Seems like my transflo app isn't working today. Can't do anything on it, wonder if their stretching it to far...
Would be awesome if you could do your advance request for lumpers and stuff on it so you could request while standing there and then give them the code... Then again I could see a security problem.....
I don't see any security problem that would exist as when they send the code it comes to the app or a text anyway. The QC is so slow half he time I get my text or app response a full 5 minutes before the QC beeps lol.
