I would take is as don't over sleep no more and communicate with them more if you are running behind due to weather, breakdown, etc. Don't sweat it to much or your going to drive yourself out of a job by constantly looking over your back and second guessing yourself.

Get to go pick up a Coke load in Waco, Tx this morning. I know the area as I used to go the Mars Plant there all the time with my previous company. Sent for the directions just in case there was tid bits of useful info. The directions were so ####ing confusing that I couldn't even follow them.

Says to take I-35 South which becomes whatever BLVD and I was thinking that I-35 doesn't become a BLVD in Waco. It stays an interstate. Don't know who wrote those, but I'm going to send an email later today with the proper easy directions to get there.

$2.049 ($1.899 with discount) at the J in Waco, Tx. Guess where I'm topping off the tanks.

Part of that also is customer. I had the same thing happen on my colton load. If I had an afternoon appointment would have been fine. But produce delivers in the morning. So I got a morning appointment and had to swap. Nothing really JCT could do about that.

I don't see any reason to be late 3 times in 90 days. I have been here 3 years and I have only had 1 late and that was because I misread the time zone it was on a border town of timezones. If you are going to be late let them know and it shifts the burden to them and off of you.

I agree with @crxdc. I've been here 2.5 years and only late once. The dispatch said 0830 but the appt was set for 0800.

I been here a year and a half almost, legit late once due to truck breakdown with the fuel system. *knocks on wood*.

Rest of them, communication on late pickups and delays out of my hands like the 80 closing due to weather.
