Same problem with my old Kenworth. Top her completely off and the gauge will show 3/4. Drive only 600 miles and the red alert almost empty light will come on then the needle will pop up and around and bounce. Now my 2014 JCT truck was doing that for a bit after I stopped in for a quick 50 gallons and put it in only on the driver side it screwed up the gauge for a few thousand miles til it recentered to accurate. My theory is the freeway is crowned/leaning to the right so the fuel will gravitate to the lower side, ie. the passenger tank more during driving. I used this to my advantage with a rental freightliner truck once, I had to return it full tanks but I stopped short of filling it by quite a bit and drove it back to the rental place and parked it on a steep slope leaning toward the driver side and let it idle a few minutes. Then shut off and walked down the street for coffee, basically giving it time to favor the drivers side and show absolutely full on the gauge. It worked, the chick who came out to sign off on the return said no problems.
Sunday nite/Monday morning midnight. BUT, you have to do the late macro b4 1700 Friday or it won't go thru. So if you're gonna late trip something that delivers on the weekend, send that macro Friday and scan by midnight

I hate being sick on the road. It's been kicking my ### the past few days. Had to call and arrange a 34 after final delivery tomorrow so I can knock myself out with NyQuil and sleep it off. I won't take NyQuil at all while running. A regular dose of that will put me in a very deep sleep for about 12 hours sometimes a little longer. So, I spend a few days drinking nothing but water to help flush it out and then put my self to sleep for about 24hrs and then I'm good to go.
