Gotta love it when you get unloaded early. Yep, showed up here at delivery in Elkton MD about 18:00, 9 hrs before my 3am appointment time. They put me in staging area and said wait to be called.
So i was getting ready to settle in for the night and 5 minutes later they called, put me in a door and i was out of there an hour later. Found a parking spot at TA down the road, bang! Done for the day and now have my 10hr break completed. Just waiting for whatever is next. Good time to get some laundry done.

    Roll on!!

Does Shipex do those physical ability tests for new drivers? Also what kind of idle policy is in place and how do you stay cool in the truck when its hot? If it is opti-idle, what is your opinion on it. Can you idle the truck if need be or does it cutoff? Thank you for this thread and your help.

Just got off the phone with Simon and their health insurance is way too expensive. $350.00 a week. Not happening.

It went downhill after we moved to the Reno area. Only loads i get are over Donner Pass and back every day and that was a real pain in the rump this Winter. Insurance costs went sky high too. Went from am HNO to a PPO and our meds are just too much. They combined our prescription deductible with the medical deductible and it’s enough to make you sick!! My Januvia went from $40.00 a month to $504.00 a month. So its new job time.

Yes it is. An easy way to discriminate against us older drivers. Make it too expensive to work there. Oh well.

You can get a 12 month e-coupon for Januvia (from Januvia) that drops it a bunch. My prescription plan makes me pay $50 for my Januvia, with the coupon I pay $5...but you have to have private insurance not Obamacare or Medicare/Medicade.
