The worst case scenario is you get hurt and your workmen’s comp is based off the lower wage.

 

$1150 or $850, SS won’t be that big of a difference ... if it’s even still funded thanks to Uncle Sam spending it.

Pretty sure WC is capped after a certain amount too?

 

It’s already cut down because of my civil service retirement. I like having my yearly total lowered. I would love to be paid in cash.

 

So how is orientation?? How many days, and are you responsible for your meals and what about the motel they put you in is it a pretty decent motel?? And do they usually try to get the driver home to get the remainder of his stuff?? Thanks guys

 

4 days, breakfast at the hotel, lunch catered and a 15dollar gift card for the Cracker Barrel next to the hotel every night. Hotel is a Country Inn. Single room, nice place. I brought my stuff with me so I didnt get home for a month.

 

So anyways. I'm still running along. Been all over the place. Way up North Idaho, then out to Buffalo NY and now on my way to Texas.

Yeah just staying busy!
I had to go to the yard yesterday to get my truck fixed. Got that done and then received a load out of the yard heading to Chester NY.
