Not every driver is a fit for every company. The people on this thread who actually work for ShipEx, seem to like it there. You can go online, and get an opinion on any subject, either pro, or con.Doesn't mean this company sux, or should be avoided.

So....what are you doing that you would have to worry about them finding out about? My company has forward facing cameras with audio, and it gives me the bright green "!" a couple times a week (indicating a critical event), usually for a huge ski jump of a bridge jct or me cornering a little quick with an empty trailer, and in 2+ years, they have called me 1 time about it going off. And that was because another truck crossed into my lane on the interstate (playing on his phone) and forced me over the left rumble strip and almost into the median...and they called to tell me 'nice job avoiding that accidental idiot yesterday'. I actually use it as a complaint line...when I see the '!' lit up, I unload a complaint about how retarded they're doing things or how so-and-so in the planning dept has their head up their butt.

For the record, I drive whatever it takes for me to get to the delivery on time. If its 400 a day then that is what I drive. If I have to stop for bad weather, then so be it. Ive had to stop in Wyoming and Nebraska alot because their DOTs shut down the I 80. So I stop. Not going to risk a 700+ dollar ticket to keep going.

So anyway.. I'm still in route to Springville UT. Don't have a reload yet. Im wondering what my dispatcher has up his sleeve next. Lol..

Productive day today. Drove about 668 miles through snow, sleet, blowing snow and fog. Sounds worse than it was. Temperature was up in the 30s so roads were just wet and dry throughout. Not a bad day overall.

As you can see from my posts on this thread for the last year or so. I run what can honestly and safely do in a day. Some days it's 400 miles because that may be all there's left on any particular load. i just try to hit 600 when ever possible if the load has the miles in it, i just run it . We get a lot of long runs so that's not hard to do.

    Cameras in our trucks,

All joking aside, just to be clear for those legitimately looking into this company. We have outward facing cameras only. The audio comes on and records in an critical event. Personally it's nothing i was concerned about. It is standard in the industry these days because of lawsuits and in some cases driver fails. They are used to protect the company's interests and possibly your own.
