Teamsters is now CRST Allegiance Central. It's much better then the Teamsters.

 

I've already got my application in thanks Shaggy, the recruiter said that I get to pull a fancy trailer with all kinds of logo's on it and be part of the Allegiance Central no more pushing a two wheeler for me I'm soon to be a proud Allegiance Central member.

 

Excellent my future brother, Past several years, Allegiance has done the duties of getting former teamsters on board and its working out quite well. It' been a long adventure and thank goodness eliminated the drug testing.

Both of them do urine testing. Go with abf. Saia hired us but we turned them down because they micromanage too much and there is a lack of hometime.

You're welcome. If he can pass his drug test it doesn't matter. Trucking is not a holier than thou job. Everybody has a past and something that you did a year ago or more shouldn't be held against you.

OP as you can see by shaggy''s post and by my recommendation I think the answer is clear as to who you should go with: Abf.
Ignore the naysayers. I'm sure your drug use is in the past and you'll pass any drug test you need to take.
This forum will be very instrumental in your success in trucking so don't stop using it.
Everybody has their ups and downs in life. It's not the detours along the way that matter it's the destination.

 

I have been with ABF for almost 11 years and I have never heard of them giving a lie detector test nor the hair follicle test. And CRST does not own ABF.
