Salutations Drivers!
Just went thru CR Englands trucking school out
here in Fontana Ca. And I'm really very pleased,
with how fast they got me thru to my CDL.
Even tho they disqualified me for some currently
unknown reason. My recruiter said I was good to go
so they accepted me to the school. I put in my three
weeks and got my CDL no problem.
Then after I get back from the DMV and present my
license to the main office. The lady tells me I need to
get hold of my recruiter. And I've been DQed. That was
friday. So now I'm limbo all weekend stress'n out till I can
call Salt Lake City and see what the problem is. But I did
ask at the front desk, what all this means in terms of the
$5000.00 fee and my license and she said whatever the
problem is they are faulting themselves. So they're waiving
the fee and I keep my license with no training under my belt.
I don't get it. Aren't they proficient with BG checks before you
get your license? Again I'm pleased with this outfit and hope I
can clear this up and work for them. I just want to do everything
the way it's supposed to be done.
Lil help?
Salutations!

Typical company, they keep you left in the dark and have to go thru the proper channels to find anything out.So u like England because of how fast you earned your CDL?I wouldn't be so quick to be impressed with this company just because of that if I were you.At least they made it right by taking responsibility of the school bill so I will give em that. You was there 3 weeks before getting disqualified that says volumes about a company in my opinion.
-
Well I agree about the volumes. But they also
just recently upgraded the pay for trainees out
of the gate. Their paying the most that I can find
so I figure I at least need to pursue my original
intent thru my recruiter. It may be just a matter
of verification or some small thing that needs to
be cleared up. And thier equipment is plush. So
there's negative and positive volumes that should
be given a proper audience. I'm not so meticulous
as to try and inventory, all the variables and combinations.
Not in the hope my brain magically spews forth the incremental
best choice for Randy, by a mere two tenths of some odd percent.
I'm willing to just wing it at a certain point K no?pattyj Thanks this. -
Three weeks is quite a bit of time and stress to get your CDL and hope it's just a minor glitch in the system and England qualifies you because I know you wanna do this and for that I support you. Please let us know what your recruiter says.Im curious to know.

Alright Patty, it seems that because I haven't been able to keep up
on my payments to the court for a past citation ruling that counts
against my CDL. My prior exp. on such matters led me to believe that
I could catch up before the end date of when the fine was due.
So I have to go down to court today and pay a lousy 98 dollars to
clear the matter and I'm back in good for training. So it works out
really perfect, as I got to come home for the weekend ( fathers day )
before leaving for five weeks on sa rrroad. Very stoked and relieved.
No fault anywhere really because I planned on catching up my payments
to the court with my first check any who ha ways. So all in all,,,,,,
frigg'n perfect sweetheart. Smiles.pattyj Thanks this. -
That's great you'll get this cleared soon and 98.00 isn't that much.Ask them how long it takes for them to clear it.
-
I scanned a copy of the receipt to my recruiter today and he said I'll be right back there waiting for a trainer to go out with for five weeks. I hope tomorrow.
